Hornets vs Chong Ghee

went to SBC to catch hornets' match against chong ghee just now.

by the time we reached SBC, tong whye's match against NUS was already into the 2nd quarter. tong whye was, as usual, leading by 20 plus points i think. tong whye won the game eventually.

hornets match was full of entertainment.

they started off very well, with Michael scoring the first shot of the game with a 3 pointer. as the game proceeded, the balance changed, chong ghee started to gather momentum in their offensive play, and managed to create quite a havoc in hornets' defense. to worsen the matter, there was a spell in the game where hornets' offense was so horrible that it allowed chong ghee to close the gap between the 2 teams from 20 points to a mere 4 points. nevertheless, hornets' was a tough nut to crack and they endure toward the end.

in the end, the scoreboard reads: "chong ghee 66 - 80 eng tat hornets"

not a convincing win, but still its a win and the points collected from this game will allow them to have a firmer foothold in advancing to the next round. good luck senior hornets!
