this is almost close to random, but yet it felt important.

Saturday's loser bracket game against yio chu kang csc was the final match for clementi csc's inter constituency games journey. was thrashed by nanyang csc on the first round, went into the loser bracket, and the rest was history.

but some good to be taken out from the lost, i'm beginning to score points. most importantly that 3 pointer, my first in all the competitive match i played so far. i'm getting more comfortable with the point guard role, maybe positioning wise and choices of pass that needs major tweaking. but as they say, these things you'll get with more match exposure and court time. which i believe i'll get in the near future.

after the day's match, i'm seriously seriously beginning to feel i miss trainings, no, not hornets' training for youth cup, but dunearn's training with coach ming xiang. it was the days when i pushed myself to the limit. it was then, that i progressed so well in terms of defense. i loved to defense, that is my forte. but not, over the youth cup and inter cons games, my defense was a stark difference from what it had used to be. my defense suck! big time!

i want training, i wouldn't mind dying after every single session of hornets' training with the big guys. what's important is that i get back my defense. cause in the whole of basketball, that is what i like doing, and what i know i do best when i'm at my peak. i do like scoring, but not getting in the score sheet isn't really important, cause i know whatever team i'm in, there is 11 other teammates who can score, and score better than me.

before that, maybe i should start to at least make it a point to head down to yew tee cc every tuesday and friday to play with the hornets' guys, to polish up bit of my point guard position first.

i want to improve. i want basketball to lead my life.

i've been stuck at karena's forum since yesterday, replying/ chatting with the other members.
this activity was carried forward to today, and yes, i'm still at it now.

as i mentioned, my 2 new found karena fan-mates from singapore, haven't add them as friends yet but soon.

BASKETBALL DAY!!!

today was super super fun!

woke up early in the morning, went school to take the appeal form. then headed down to lucky plaza with joash to meet up with kah leong, wilson and anthony for nasi ayam penyet. food was nice, but it was breast meat thus the meat wasn't that fabulous.

bus-ed back to cck to meet up with zhi jie and kim guan before heading to yew tee cc to ball. wei yang arrived first, then pei zhen arrived shortly after we started to play. then at around 5 plus hui han came over. balled till close to 7pm before heading to cck cc to continue. pei zhen was totally being bullied by zhi jie and hui han all the way from yew tee till cck cc. haha. me, i'm an angel, i don't bully people :)

balled till 9 plus, parted ways with zhi jie and pei zhen at cck interchange.

PEOPLE READ: I HAD FUN BALLING TODAY. the feeling was superb to be able to drive and shoot. THANKS PEI ZHEN, ZHI JIE, HUI HAN, WEI YANG, KIM GUAN for accompanying me play:) :) appreciated. and and call me to ball again soon!!!!

and so, i've finally received my first semester's result. which i'm super unhappy about.
i ONLY scored 3.4 for my GPA?! not even a 3.5?? ok, which donkeys told me that by scoring all Bs you can get a GPA of 3.5?? apparently, even with an A+, mine is only a MEASLY, FREAKING 3.4 can??

one word to describe this: DISAPPOINTING!!!

maybe i should not sleep that much during lectures anymore?
with whatever regard, i'm going to appeal for AE and AT, whichever that has spaces. ECE is absolutely a no go for me. even though it has an aerospace elective. cause after all its ONLY an elective.

day off... at home

today's my day off in my first week of work.

worked consecutive 2 days closing. and from tomorrow i'll be working 2 consecutive opening shifts. much to be learned but i'm getting the hang of it. menu wise, should be quite alright with it. i guess. yesterday finally saw one of the kitchen in-charge at work. kee lim i think was his name.*pardon if the name is spelt wrongly* nice guy, slowly taught me how to prepare the oven-baked and pizzas. he's a malaysian, got the strong accent and his face reminds me of clement. lols.

i woke up at 1.30 today. am gonna continue watching Karena's movie. the past few days have been spent watching some other japanese shows, so now must go watch her movies again.

i'm getting worse too, from using my laptop in the living room, to using it at dining table, to now, using it on my bed.haha...
anyway, that's all for today. will check if the other mates going down to yew tee tomorrow. i wanna play ball... at yew tee, with my mates.

finally finished my first day of work. great day. not much customer, so quite relaxed.
but gotta memorise the hot dishes menu, and the ingredients that make up the dishes. work place kinda cramped, but i'm fine with that.

ate a pizza made by kah leong, not bad lah~ haha. work today rather interesting, learnt how to prepare spaghetti today. wonder what will i do tomorrow??

bad news. Manchester City beat Chelsea to sign Robinho from Real Madrid for 32 million pounds. bloody hell. he was supposed to signed for Chelsea. damn Real Madrid. may they lose all their league games, and get kicked out of champions league by losing their group stages. plus, Chelsea's next match will be against Manchester City. WTH! nevermind, Chelsea will beat Man City regardless of Robinho or not.

good news!!! just read from Karena's forum, she's got a new role in the sequel of 《爱情呼叫转移》, titled 《爱情左灯右行》. in which she will act with 12 different guys. about the story, i haven't read the whole post. update when i finished reading the post. OMG... acting with 12 different guys. those 12 guys are some lucky ass-es. if only i got the chance to act with her. haha i think i'll go crazy. can't wait to get more news on her latest movie. hopefully the upcoming candy rain will be screened in singapore. *pray pray*
